Lacrosse training & league play in PG County, MD – open to all skill levels.

Prince George’s County, Maryland and surrounding areas

Creating a diverse and inclusive lacrosse experience for elementary and middle school girls.

Diversity

TrainHER was born out of the lack of representation so it’s essential that diversity is represented within the brand and business.

Fun

It’s important for the girls to grasp the foundation + beyond of lacrosse, but it’s also about having fun in the process!

Inclusivity

Inclusivity is necessary to provide the representation the girls need to feel empowered and inspired.

“What made me absolutely adore her was her ability to meet every player where they are, no matter their skill level, confidence, or willingness to participate in the activities.”

“Coach Zhane brought an unmatched level of energy and enthusiasm to every practice. What made me absolutely adore her was her ability to meet every player where they are, no matter their skill level, confidence, or willingness to participate in the activities. Whether a player was just starting out or already had a few seasons under their belt, she made sure they felt seen, valued, and motivated to improve/learn more.
Coach Zhane’s approach is all about building confidence and fostering a love for the game. She’s not just focused on teaching the fundamentals, but also on encouraging personal growth. Even when it felt convenient, she never let me belittle myself, talk down on my accomplishments, or even future possibilities. I’ll never forget the conversations we had about committing to college for women’s lacrosse. I remember talking about potentially committing in such a longing way and she refused to let me act as if it weren’t achievable. Because of her extra push, I was able to take that next step and reach out to coaches, and I eventually chose a school where I would play lacrosse at the collegiate level.
The positive impact Coach Zhane has had on these kids is immeasurable and her influence is something that I recognize whenever someone compliments my leadership skills. “

“Meeting Zhane was truly the best thing that could have happened for my daughter Gina.”

Read Gina's Story

The timing was perfect, as Gina was going through a difficult transition after having major spinal fusion surgery. Although she had been playing lacrosse competitively for three years, it seemed like the fall season might not be possible after being sidelined for months. That’s when one of Gina’s former coaches connected us with Zhane, and everything changed. Over the summer, Gina began training with Zhane, and I saw her confidence start to return after feeling like she might never play lacrosse again. Zhane is incredible—not only does she bring a deep love for the sport, but she also genuinely cares about the girls she trains. She took the time to get to know Gina, listen to her goals, and create a plan to help her achieve them.

Zhane’s guidance and encouragement have made such a positive impact on Gina’s journey, both physically and mentally. We’re so grateful for everything she’s done, and we can’t wait to start working with her again as the warmer weather approaches. She has truly been a blessing to us and to Gina!”
